Back Care Fitness Program

NEW: Back Care Fitness Program

Prolonged periods of sitting and working from home has left many suffering from back pain. Optimal Motion reached out to Personal20, the Electro Fitness Studio, to see what is unique about Electronic Muscle Stimulation (EMS ) and how a fitness program focused on back care could provide a much-needed service to our patients.

The curiosity came as Dr. PT Secili DeSstefano , PT, DPT observed the strength benefits that our very own Yoga instructor and patient Barbara Jones received when she added Personal20 as a fitness compliment to her physical therapy care for her back issues. The curiosity lead to Secili herself, along with his her mother recovering from a fall as well, both trying EMS to experience first- hand the benefits of this new technology: Whole-Body EMS.

Now available at Optimal Motion this October, P20 Functional Back Care. This program will be delivered by the highly trained Personal20 Trainers focusing on safely and effectively strengthening all muscles of the core which supports back pain relief. The technology ensures a joint friendly approach to muscle strengthening.

Start Strong

Our bodies function at their best when muscles work in sync with one another. Weak muscles, especially those in your core and pelvis, can lead to back pain or injury.

Low back pain interferes with your daily activities. Research has shown that strengthening exercises can be beneficial in treating low back pain.
