Jackie Yencha , Patient Care Coordinator
Jackie serves as a healthcare administrator and patient care coordinator at Optimal Motion, where she is an integral part of the healthcare team. Jackie received her B.S. degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology from George Mason University (GMU). She has served as the Vice-President and Assistant Editor for the National Fibromyalgia Partnership, a national organization that provides quality resource information for the Fibromyalgia and chronic pain communities. Having had the personal experience of living with multiple chronic pain illnesses, Jackie understands the importance of compassion during the physical rehabilitation process. She helps provide a supportive and collaborative patient care environment at the clinic.
Jackie lived in numerous cities across Virginia during her childhood, but she settled in Northern Virginia in the early 1980s. Upon graduating from GMU, she worked in the AIDS education and drug/alcohol rehabilitation fields at the American Psychiatric Association in Washington, D.C. She also worked for several years at Adams-Green Funeral Home in Herndon, VA. She married her husband, Mike, in 1990, and has two children, Ian and Abby. Jackie is very active in her beloved Herndon community.
