The therapy and treatment she provided was amazing! My life has improved because I’ve learned how I can heal my body. Dr DeStefano is knowledgeable and she gave caring care.
To say that Secili has changed my life, is no understatement. If you are battling core issues, pelvic floor troubles, or hypermobility, I cannot recommend a better provider. Secili quickly diagnosed muscle imbalances and trigger points located elsewhere in my spine and treated me with a combination of exercises and dry needling. I was back on my feet within a month with no more debilitating pain! I totally credit Secili for helping me live a pain free and healthy life!
Matt’s running assessment was incredibly helpful to keep me from injuring myself over and over again. It’s a friendly atmosphere and hugely improved my issues.
I started seeing Secili shortly after the birth of my 2nd child. I had developed hip problems that impacted everything I did – from carrying my children around, to walking around, to even sitting comfortably. Since working with Secili, I have completed 5 marathons, several half marathons, and logged countless miles on the roads and trails.
Physical therapists truly are movement specialists, but that’s not all. For many people, their first thought may be sports and orthopedics, but we also play a huge part in men’s and women’s health, chronic pain, progressive disorders like Parkinson’s Disease, stroke and cardiac rehab. The CDC recommends safer alternatives than opiods for pain, such as physical therapy. Physical therapists treat pain through movement, hands-on care, and patient education—and by increasing physical activity you can also reduce your risk of other chronic diseases and dependence on pain medication. We use comprehensive diagnostic methods, including rehabilitative ultrasound imaging, running evaluations and functional movement assessments to help determine which services and treatments you will benefit from most. Our treatments aim to reduce your pain and improve your function to allow you to return to the life and activities you enjoy.
Our physical therapists are compassionate, caring and personally invested in helping you reach your highest level of performance and quality of life. Our dedicated team consists of leading experts in physical therapy, any of whom would be happy to work with you on your goals. They will work hard, not only to get to the root of your pain and discomfort and provide quality treatment for what you are currently experiencing, but they will also work with you to create a plan for injury prevention and optimization of movement.

To our Optimal Motion family and friends,
The health and safety of our patients and staff remain our highest priority. Optimal Motion is closely monitoring recommendations and protocols established by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health department. Please find below additional updates and reminders from our clinic on how we can continue to treat our patients in a safe and healthy environment.
Physical Therapy Appointments
The Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security issued a memorandum and associated guidance designating physical therapists as “essential critical infrastructure workers”. Physical therapy services play an essential role in keeping people we can help, out of doctor offices and emergency rooms to support in flattening the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are currently accepting appointments in office for our patients. Our clinic has added extra equipment cleaning measures to our existing daily cleaning protocol after each patient to help prevent spread.
We ask you to please stay home if you fall into the following groups:
